  3. anyone any idea what sort of engine the 8016 JCB digger has? i.e. 3 cylinder 4 stroke? x

  4. Rachael, The engine in the JCB 8016 is a Perkins 403D-11, Tier 3 Emissions compliant, 4-stroke diesel, water cooled, 19.7hp (gross) @ 2,200rpm, has a displacement of 1,131cc.

  7. I have a mental blank, can anyone tell me what the vascular cambium function is? Is it to produce more cells ?

  8. A vascular cambium is a layer if cells between xylem and the phloem and it produces both allowing the plant to grow.

  9. Cheers Neil, I had got all my hande written notes mixed, what with vascular cambium, vascular bundles, cork cambium and so on and then started to doubt myself.
