He wants you to identify how these plants specifically have adapted either their reproduction or food storage capabilities to live/survive in woodland, what is it about them they do smarter or differently. ie it is usually darker so how do they survive where other plants would normally not; ie the bluebells complete their lifecycle (come into flower and reproduce very early compared to others), before the woodland trees come into leaf and shade everything too much and store food in bulbs. I googled Woodland plant Adaptations and then each plant and read about each one and picked out the bits I needed.
